Hundreds of students celebrate graduation from partner Mont Rose College

More than 200 students have graduated from Mont Rose College of Management and Sciences in Ilford in a ceremony at the prestigious Queen Elizabeth II Centre in Westminster, London.
The qualifications are accredited by Buckinghamshire New University and Sean Mackney, the University’s Pro Vice Chancellor - Education, presided over the ceremony.
Students received qualifications in HND Business Marketing and HND Hospitality Management. Mont Rose College Principal Bilal Sheikh was master of ceremonies and Quality Assurance Manager Dr Leslie Doyle gave the closing address.
Other guests included Dr Lorraine Watkins-Mathys, Dean of the Faculty of Design, Media and Management at Bucks New University; Ilford South MP Mike Gapes, Redbridge Deputy Mayor Councillor Ashley Kissin; and Thomas Chan, Representative Deputy Lieutenant for the Redbridge.

Dr Watkins-Mathys said: “Education transforms the world and this is the stepping stone for you all but whatever you decide for your future, your College and the University is proud of you.”
Gloria Taiwo, receiving an HND in Business Marketing, said: “When looking for a Higher Education institution, I wanted to go somewhere with an excellent reputation and a focus on employability. An institution that is supportive and Mont Rose College ticked all the boxes and more.”
